Kiehl's launched two new masques earlier this year, I immediately picked up the Turmeric & Cranberry Seed masque. It was an easy pick, Turmeric is known for its healing properties it soothes your skin and helps fade dark spots. In some culture Turmeric is used on the bride before the wedding ceremony, its supposed to soften and give a golden yellowish hue to the brides skin. Turmeric is also rich in antioxidants, its anti-inflammatory, its great for acne blemishes and balancing the skin, the list goes on and on. That's not the only ingredients that contain in this incredible Energizing Radiance masque, there is more! This masque contains Cranberry seed oil, which is also high in antioxidants and the crushed cranberry seeds are supposed to exfoliate the skin gently. This mask is Kaolin and Bentonite Clay base, it cleanses and helps controls over the production of sebum. There is a strong minty fruity scent, it didn't bother me I didn't even notice it after a few minutes. At first, I had a little issue with removing the mask but I think I found a way, that works the best for me. I usually leave a mask on longer than the instruction suggests but with this mask I highly recommend you stick the rule, cause if you leave it on longer than 10 minutes it can be a little hard to remove. I apply a thin layer and leave it on for no more than 10 min but I still find the Cranberry seeds are a little difficult to remove. The mask will tighten and you will know its completed and its time to rinse off. I would suggest using this mask right before you shower it's much easier to remove it that way.
Overall
There is nothing not to like about this mask! I love how my skin feels after I use this mask it instantly brightens, firms and softens my skin. I just wish it came in a tube form instead of a jar just cause of hygienic issues. Also, you can't beat the price, you're getting quite a lot of product. I've been using this twice a week for the past two months and I still have 75% of product left in the jar, so a little goes a long way. I'm loving this masque so much I want to try the Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Masque too.
