La Mer Soleil De La Mer 2018
La Mer 2018 Limited Edition Soleil collection features a gorgeous bronzer, and two shades of Lip & Cheek Glows. I always loved the look of La Mer bronzers from their previous collections, but I never purchased it cause most of them seemed too light for my tan complexion. This year when I saw the bronzer, I immediately fell in love with the embossing and the shades. I told myself if it didn't work for me as a bronzer I can still make it work as a blush.
I was at Barney's, and I couldn't resist myself especially when I heard they only had one left in stock. I ended up buying the bronzer right away, and since the Lip and Cheeks Glows were sold out in store, I came home and placed an order right away. I love all things peachy/coral shades I can't get enough of it! I've purchased this two products back in May, and I've been using the products since then so today I'm going to review both of them.

La Mer Soleil De La Mer 2018
The packaging is very summer appropriate the pearly white, and the reflective rose gold compact is simply stunning. It's got a luxurious feel to it, and it's also very lightweight and travel-friendly.

The Bronzing Powder is infused with nutrient-rich Miracle Broth. The silky pressed powder creates the look of a glimmering sun-kissed glow. The shades blend perfectly to highlight and define the contours of the face. Skin looks radiant with a warm, illuminated glow. This powder has three shades of light tan (bronzer), light pink (blush), and a warm champagne shade (highlighter). The bronzer is almost the same shade as my skin tone, so if you're tan like me, you can make this work however if you're darker than me it would be best to skip this bronzer. The bronzer is not dark enough to contour, but it does add some warmth to the skin. I like to swirl my brush on the bronzer and highlighter shade and focus on my cheekbones, and then I swirl the brush all over the compact and apply it on my cheeks. I love how it looks on my skin it adds the right amount of color for the everyday looks. Up until a few years ago, I was not that into bronzers cause it can be a bit over the top sometimes. I did find a few shades that are flattering on my skin, so now I'm more open to playing with bronzers.
If you like a light wash of color with a radiant glow, you'll really like this one. I think it will look amazing on lighter complexions since the bronzer doesn't have an orange undertone. It has a silky, soft, blendable texture. The bronzer has a lovely scent it reminds me of their hand cream I like the smell since it's not too overpowering.

La Mer Soleil De La Mer 2018
Surprisingly the Lip & Cheeks Glows was a huge hit it sold out quickly, and it was tough to find both online and in store. There are two shades available 01 Coral Glow and 02 Pink Sands. The blend of glowing pigments suspended in nourishing oil gives skin a quick hint of healthy color. Infused with nourishing Miracle Broth, it adds a sheer, buildable flush of color to lips and cheeks as it visibly refreshes and renews delicate skin. I was very excited to try this, but once I got to play with Coral Glow, I wasn't sure if I really liked it as much as the bronzer. First of all, it looks horrible on my lips it's shows up as a very pale shade of peach. I do like the glossy, creamy texture but I wouldn't want to use it on my lips. It looks gorgeous when swatched on my arms I wish it looked like that on my lips. With that being said, I do like to layer it very lightly on top of cream/stick blushes it adds a healthy glow to my dry cheeks which I can appreciate. If you have oily skin, I'm not sure if that method would work for you. Coral Glow has a refreshing minty scent, and upon licking my lips, I discovered it has a sweet taste which is always very pleasant.
The Lip and Cheek Glows are very sheer so it won't make a great blush it's just a glossy, hydrating balm for the lips and cheeks. I did do a heavy-handed swatch so you can get an idea of the shade. I just can't justify the lip and cheek glows for the price there are much better options out there.

La Mer Soleil De La Mer 2018
I wanted to compare the La Mer bronzing power to a few of my favorite bronzers. As you can see, for the most part, all the bronzers have that hint of glow and shimmer. That's what I prefer when it comes to bronzer. I'm not a big fan of contouring my face unless it's a traditional party or occasion then I will go to town with my makeup haha! But for every day looks I like a light bronzer that will warm up my complexion and give me a healthy sun-kissed glow.

Final Verdict:
I really like the bronzer so far, I purchased mine a few months ago, and I find myself reaching for it quite often. I'm glad La Mer mixed the blush and highlighter shades with the bronzer if it wasn't for that I don't think I would've purchased it. Because of those two shades, I was able to mix it all together and use it as a bronzer and blush. I wouldn't necessarily say it's a must-have cause Summer is approaching I will get darker, and I doubt I would be able to use this as a bronzer then.
As for the Lip & Cheek Glows if I knew it would be so pale on me I would've skipped it entirely. I think it depends on the person if you're someone who loves a sheer and glossy finish you'd like the glows. For me, it's certainly a miss, but since I purchased it and used it, I will have to try my best to make it work and get my money's worth.

Kiko Milano Free Soul Collection
Kiko Milano Free Soul Collection was created specifically by designer Ross Lovegrove, The packaging featured a touch of aqua green all over, reminiscent of the sorbet tones of spring, while the "crumpled" effect echoes the pastel mood of the collection.

Lately, I've been loving cream blushes, so I was very eager to test the blush duos. The cream blush duos are nicely pigmented, long lasting, hydrating, however, it's not as creamy as I would like it to be. Although it blends seamlessly, it also dries very quickly, so you'd have to work a little faster with these blushes. I do like the shades, at first I thought I would love the coral duo, however, I gravitated more towards 01 Biscuit Chance. I love mixing the shades and customizing the colors, my favorite is the highlighters, its got a very nice sheen to it and it's not too shimmery or glittery.
01 Biscuit Chance Blush- is a neutral, warm terracotta shade. It's very flattering on my tan skin I love mixing the two shades for a healthy, radiant glow.
02 Coral Vibes Blush- is a light coral blush with a peachy highlighter. I usually love coral shades, but this is a bit light for me. I prefer mixing this shade with Biscuit Chance blush for flushed cheeks look.

Kiko Milano Free Soul Liquid Bronzer in 01 Natural Beige
I haven't had much luck with liquid bronzers in the past cause they're either too warm or too light for me. Unfortunately, this Liquid Bronzer is too light for my tan skin, but I do like the creamy consistency the formula is superb, and it's also very easy to blend. I love the packaging as well it's housed in a thick, sturdy glass jar and it has a large doe foot applicator. I think 01 Natural beige liquid bronzer is ideal for light to medium skin tone.

Kiko Milano Free Soul Highlighter
Kiko Milano Free Soul Highlighter is a silky highlighter that features three shades. This highlighter has a light texture, it's highly pigmented, and it has a pearly/shimmery finish. Once you mix all three shades, it gives you a warm rose gold shade which can be very pretty on darker skin tone. I love using a fan brush to apply the highlighter that way I have more control over the application. I'm not a huge fan of intense, dramatic highlighters, so I like to use the top shades for everyday looks. For nighttime looks, I do like to kick it up a notch and go for all three shades. This might not be the best option for pale skin tones it can be a little too over the top in terms of color wise but to tone it down a bit, you can use this as a blush topper.

Kiko Milano Free Soul Highlighter and Liquid Bronzer 01 Natural Beige

The Free Soul lipsticks come in a comfortable matte finish formula. The velvety texture helps coat the lips with full coverage and intense pigmentation. I do like the formula and it does have a velvety feel to it, as far as the texture goes but I would suggest priming your lips prior to the application. Since it's a matte finish lipstick it does settle into the fine lines of the lips, however, it doesn't bleed so lipliner can be optional. Both lipsticks wore for 4-5 hours before it started fading and it did leave a light stain behind.
01 Wild Rose Heart- a peachy nude.
04 Keep Moving Coral- a bright warm coral. (my favorite)

Kiko Milano Free Soul Mascara
I have heard nothing but great things about Kiko Milano Mascaras and I did try one of their mascara, in the past and I was not disappointed. I love the burgundy color mascara it's a colored mascara, but it's still wearable. These mascaras definitely help up the curl, but it wasn't as volumizing as I like it to be, but nonetheless, with 2-3 coats, it does make my lashes look long and defined.

Kiko Milano Free Soul Nailpolish in Shake The World Rose
Nail polish with a professional finish and up to 5 days of brilliant color. It's easy to apply, and each shade has been composed with maximum precision for optimum texture, coverage, and performance of pigments. It is available in the spring-like shades, that evoke the mood of the collection.
I received a lot of requests on Instagram to swatch this nail polish, so I hope the swatches will help give you an idea of the shade. I absolutely love this nail polish it was the first thing I tested, and I'm truly impressed with the lasting power. It wore for 5-6 days before it started chipping, with just one coat you get an opaque finish, but I prefer two coats for an even finish.
Shake The World Rose- a rosy mauve shade.

Kiko Milano Free Soul Collection
Final Verdict:
I have to give it to Kiko Milano for the beautiful packaging which screams spring! I also liked the blush & highlighter brush, it's a synthetic brush that's densely packed, and it has an angled tip. The angled tip helps achieve a precise application, and it also blends out the products evenly. The double eyeshadow brush isn't my favorite, but it does get the job done, however, I actually prefer using this brush to spot conceal.
A few days ago, I accidentally dropped the highlighter compact, and it was still intact, so these products are very travel-friendly. If I had to pick my favorites, I would say 01 Biscuit Chance Blush, Keep Moving Coral Lipstick, and Shake The World Rose nail polish.

“For years, my time-starved friends have asked me which makeup products they should use and how to apply them. With this in mind, I created a quick, easy line that takes the guesswork out of makeup application and gets you out the door looking polished in minutes. Meet lune+aster.” - Marla Malcolm Beck (CEO and Co-Founder of Bluemercury).
Bluemercury is one of my favorite cosmetics stores, I've been shopping there for years, and when I heard they're launching a new beauty line, I was all ears. Lune+Aster is all about quick and easy application hence the keyword "Go" in all four categories: Prep + Go, Protect + Go, Bronze + Go and Swipe + Go. Makeup steps that are not very time-consuming? Yes, I'm all about that! This line is paraben free, gluten free, dermatology tested and it's cruelty-free. Lune+Aster products are vitamin-infused, packed with clean treatment ingredients, which is perfect for sensitive skin. I had the pleasure of testing out three products, I'm reviewing two products today so let's get to it!
Lune+Aster Kona Baked Bronzer $32- This is an ultra smooth baked bronzer, with a soft sheen finish. It's housed in a sturdy compact with the Lune+Aster logo on top. The light and dark swirl creates the perfect shade that's great for everyday use. At first, I was skeptical of this bronzer not showing up on me but once applied. It did give my skin a soft, subtle glow. I think this bronzer will look great on lighter skin tone If you're darker than NC40 it won't show up on you. Another thing, I like about this bronzer is I can go heavy handed with this bronzer without it looking too muddy. This was very easy to blend, and it lasted about 6-7 hours, Kona is $32 for 0.3 oz. And it's available in Bluemercury.
Lune+Aster Stratosphere Volumizing Mascara
Lune+Aster Stratosphere Volumizing Mascara $20- I have flat thin lashes It's almost impossible for me to find a mascara that works on my stubborn flat lashes. This mascara is supposed to be volumizing, lengthening and make your lashes look full and lush. I have been using this mascara every day, and I quite like it, it is almost as good as my HG Chanel Le Volume mascara. I love that it doesn't flake, it didn't irritate my sensitive eyes, doesn't clump up, and you only need two coats of mascara to achieve the full long lash look. Even though it's not waterproof it didn't smudge even in hot weather, Stratosphere Volumizing mascara is $20 for 0.33 oz, and it is available in Bluemercury.
Overall
I love the concept of the Lune+Aster products, it's very quick and easy to apply. Which is great for moms like me who's always on the go. I definitely recommend you check out this new line in Bluemercury, the mascara quickly became one of my favorites, and I will definitely repurchase it. As for the bronzer, I think it would be a perfect option for those with fair skin, and I hope Lune+Aster will add more shades to choose from in the future. On the picture, I have the Stratosphere Volumizing Mascara on and the Kona Baked Bronzer with Estee Edit Barest Blush (review here). Another item I would like to recommend is the Moon Rise Glow & Contour Bronzing Palette, I purchased this palette a few weeks ago, and I can't wait to review it! Have you tried any products from Lune+Aster? If so, please let me know what your thoughts on them are.

Givenchy Les Saisons Healthy Glow Bronzer Extreme Saison
Summer is right around the corner and with that being said, its raining bronzers! Every brand is launching great bronzers and I happened to stumble upon this gorgeous Givenchy bronzer. I have very few Givenchy beauty products in my collection so I wasn't sure what to expect but I took my dear friend Bubblymichelle's advice and went for it. The star embossed powder had me swooned not to mention the beautiful soft gold tint it has which will give you that perfect radiance. This Bronzer is housed in a sleek black compact, with the rose gold Givenchy logo on top. There are total of five shades, three of them are bronzers and two which can be worn as a highlighter/blush, I purchased the darkest shade, 04 Extreme Saison. The texture is very light just like Givenchy promised, it feels extremely soft and blends very well, its nicely pigmented and although its shimmery there isn't any chunky glitter. In the description they mentioned it can be used to contour but I don't see myself using this for contouring, however if you're light skin this will be a great option for you. For me the sole purpose of this powder is to give me that healthy glow, this Givenchy Healthy Glow Bronzer is free of talc and parabens.
Givenchy Les Saisons Healthy Glow Bronzer Extreme Saison
Givenchy Les Saisons Extreme Saison & Mac Cosmetics Refined Golden Bronzer
I don't own a lot of bronzer, that's cause most of them turns orangeish on my NC40 skin tone, one of my favorite is the Benefit Hoola Bronzer I've been hooked on that for years. The only dupe I can find in my stash is this Mac Cosmetics Refined Golden bronzer, which looks a bit orangeish next to Givency Extreme Saison. Needless to say I barely reach for the Mac Refined Golden bronzer due to the orange hue. So I'm really happy to have found a nice bronzer that gives me the perfect sun kissed glow.
Overall
This is a great bronzer, specially for those who has lighter skintone and because of the weightless formula, you can even get away with layering this bronzer without it being muddy or patchy. I just wish they'd create more darker shades, for women of color cause if you're NC43 or more then this wont work as a bronzer, which is very disappointing but it may work as a highlighter due to the lovely gold sheen. What I mostly love about this powder is how well it blends and the silky satiny texture, its a must have for all bronzer lovers! Have you tried this bronzer yet? If so, please let me know what you think of it on a comment below.
