One side is Solid Cleansing Oil which contains Vitamin E, Avocado Oil, Camellia Oil, and Evening Primrose Oil all of which helps conditions, nourishes and heal the skin. Pixi+Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse
The Solid Cleansing Oil felt very silky and lightweight the texture is similar to the Eve Lom cleanser which I swear by but the solid cleansing oil is thinner in consistency. This Cleansing Oil removes makeup and sunscreen. I love using this to remove my eye makeup this helps remove every trace of mascara and eye makeup without having to rub it or getting a blurry vision like some cleansing balms/oils can cause. I apply this on dry skin and use a wet muslin cloth to remove my makeup this is also perfect for removing liquid lipsticks.
The Cleansing Cream cleanses the skin, prepping it for the next steps in your regimen. The texture is similar to Pond's Cold Cream which is one of my favorite drugstore cleansing cream. I always double cleanse during my PM routine unless I'm having a makeup free day. This cleanser has a thick creamy texture I feel like the Cleansing Oil does such a fabulous job at removing all the grime off my face, so you only need a little bit of this product. I apply a small amount of product all over my face then I use a moist muslin cloth to wipe off the Cleansing Cream. It leaves my skin feeling plumped, refreshed and best of all it doesn't give you that tightening feeling like some cleansers do.

Pixi Double Cleanse have been my go to cleanser for the past few weeks. At first, I thought there isn't enough product, but even after using it almost on a daily basis I haven't made a dent. Skincare played a big part in the year of 2016 I became more aware of the ingredients in products and what's beneficial for my skin and what's not. After lots of trial and fail, I've discovered some great products along the way. I sorted them in each category which was tough to narrow it down. So without further ado here is my round up of 2016 best skincare products!
Cleansers
- Derma e Purifying Cleanser $15- This is a gentle cleanser for normal to oily skin type. This is one of my favorite cleansers to use in the morning it leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. I love this cleanser love the minimal ingredients, and It's also very budget friendly. I featured this cleanser in my Top 5 Cleanser post here.
- Nuxe-Reve de Miel Face Cleansing & Makeup Removing Gel $19-This is meant for dry and sensitive skin. The honey infused formula makes this cleanser very creamy in texture and also very hydrating while removing makeup, impurities and cleansing the skin. I have oily to combination skin, but during winter I do get dry patches, so I love loading up on hydrating products. One con about this cleanser is the smell it's a bit strong if you're not sensitive to strongly scented products then I highly recommend this cleanser. This cleanser contains 93% of natural ingredients, and it's also on the budget friendly side.
- Mila Moursi Cleansing Foam $70- This cleanser is very gentle, and it creates a creamy foam, and I love the smell of this cleanser. I use this mostly in the morning but its great to remove makeup as well. This is my second tube and if you can fork out $$ for this cleanser just do it! This cleanser was also featured in the Top 5 Cleanser post here.

Toners
- Pixi Glow Tonic $15- I can't rave enough about this toner It's my favorite toner! What I most love about this toner is its Alcohol-free products that contain alcohol doesn't suit my skin at all. Glow Tonic helped clear my skin, and I did a detailed review of this toner here.
- Kiehl's Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner $21- As you can see this one is Alcohol-free as well and it's suitable for normal to oily skin. I have sensitive skin that's parched in the winter, so this gentle toner is perfect during in the winter time. This toner leaves my skin feeling smooth and clean it also keeps oil at bay.
- Kaplan MD Clarifying Toner $35- This toner helps soothe skin, tighten pores, and refine skin texture. It's a great toner, and you can also use this to set your makeup I did a detailed review on this toner here.

Serums
- Skin Inc Hyaluronic Acid & Licorice Serum $45 each- I discovered this brand earlier this year, and I've gone through a few of these bottles. Hyaluronic Acid helps hydrate and even out the texture of your skin. Licorice serum is very soothing, and it helps reduce redness this serum helped my skin so much during summer. I love these serums as you can see my bottle is entirely empty I need to replenish soon! I highly recommend the Skin Inc serums.
- Goldfaden MD Brightening Elixir $80- This stuff works, and I love the clean ingredients so good for my skin. I started using this from the very beginning of last year, and I noticed immediate results my skin have never looked better. I always keep a 50 ml bottle as a back up in my stash you get where I'm going with this. This is my holy grail serum! I strongly urge you to get a bottle of Estee Lauder ANR, and you can thank me later. ;p
- Derma e Purifying Youth Serum $29.50- This serum is very moisturizing if you have oily skin you can get away with skipping moisturizer. I love using this in the morning it moisturizes my skin and gives my skin a healthy glow. This serum is effective, and it's worth every penny.

Face Creams
- Trilogy Rosapene Night Cream $51- This has been my skin savior this winter, this is a little heavy, so this will be ideal for dry skin, but since my skin is less oily during winter I've been reaching out for this cream a lot. My skin feels so hydrated, soft and smooth when I use this cream it's my go to night cream during winter.
- Dr. Roebuck's Anti-Aging Face Moisturizer $45- I discovered this product at the very end of 2016, but it quickly became a staple in my skincare routine. Dr. Roebuck's products are made in Australia with very minimal ingredients for maximum results. Pixi Beauty 2-in-1 MultiBalm
Pixi Beauty recently launched a new collection called 2-in1 MultiBalm, There's a total of Five shades: Watermelon Veil, Wild Rose, Baby Petal, Sheer Sculpt and Soft Strawberry. As some of you might already know, I'm a huge fan of Pixi Glow Tonic (Review here) so I was very excited to try out products from their makeup line. Let's start with the packaging, its really sturdy which made it very easy to travel with. These MultiBalms are infused with Aloe Vera, Shea butter and Rose Hip Oil that helps protect and nourish the skin. These balms are very pigmented and the texture is soft and buttery with a satin finish. It glides on very easily without it tugging on the skin. I use these Multibalms both on my cheeks and lips, I use my finger to blend out the product, I find that's the best way to work with this product. You can build up the coverage or use it as a light flush of color. I think all five shades are perfect for all skin tones except for Sheer Sculpt which can be a little light for deeper skin tones. These Multibalms are also very long lasting, I noticed it performed better as a blush (6-7 hours) than on the lips (2-3 hours).
Pixi Beauty 2-in-1 MultiBalm
- Watermelon Veil- A bright pink.
- Wild Rose- A beautiful mauve rose.
- Baby Petal- A light peachy petal.
- Soft Strawberry- A bright berry red.
- Sheer Sculpt- A cool toned cocoa.
Overall
If you're into multi-tasking products you will definitely enjoy these balms. All five shades are quite lovely but my personal favorites are Watermelon Veil and Wild Rose. I really love the hydrating formula of these balms, Pixi beauty line definitely lived up to my expectation and I can't wait to try out more products from this brand.

Glow tonic with ginseng & fructose. Helps tone, firm and tighten the skin. Removes dead skin cells for a healthier looking skin. Alcohol-free. Use after cleanser on a cotton pad. Key ingredients: aloe vera, ginseng, and glycolic acid-5%. Suitable for all skin types.

Application Tip
I started using Glow Tonic about two months ago, the first month I only used it during my pm routine. I gradually worked up to twice a day. sometimes I skip it during my morning routine depending on how my skin is feeling. I use my favorite Shiseido cotton pads, saturate the cotton pad then sweep it across my face and neck twice. Then I wait about 5 minutes before I apply serum, moisturizer, and all that good stuff.

As long as I can remember, I never cared for a toner mostly because the ones I tried didn't work for me. Well, that was before I came across this gem called Glow Tonic! I've heard nothing but great things about this product, it has been raved by many British bloggers before it hit the states. What I love about Glow Tonic is that its alcohol-free, oil-free, doesn't strip out all the natural oils. The color of Glow Tonic is so unique it's a bright peachy orangey shade which comes from the red ginseng. The fragrance of this tonic is quite pleasant, It smells like a fresh flower and it disappears very quickly. This toner contains 5% Glycolic Acid, which is AHA derived from sugar canes. It helps with fine lines, exfoliating, brightening skin, preventing acne and removing blackheads. Aloe Vera is the second ingredient that's listed on the bottle, which means that there is quite of bit of it in there. Aloe Vera helps moisturize, have anti-inflammatory properties and it softens the skin. It also contains witch hazel which tones and firms the skin and all sorts of other good stuff like red ginseng, horse chestnut seed extract that will make your skin healthier and brighter.

Overall
Pixi Glow Tonic is a must for me! I always thought I didn't need a toner but boy was I wrong. I had these tiny little bumps on my skin and because of those bumps, my makeup didn't apply evenly. After two months of Glow Tonic my skin has cleared up a lot, I don't breakout as much as I used to, it also helped reduce redness. This product pretty much changed my skin in an overall positive way, its good for both oily and dry skin. If you want clear skin, then you must try The Pixi Glow Tonic. Glow Tonic comes in three different sizes: 15 ml, 100 ml, and 250 ml. I love that they have different sizes to choose from so you can try out the small bottle before committing to a bigger bottle. The only con about Glow Tonic is, it's so hard to find in stores. I'm currently hoarding a few of the 100 ml bottles, but once I run out I'm going for the 250 ml!
