This May, designer Christian Louboutin launches his first-ever neon-like Nail Colour shades, introducing the limited edition Loubiflash Nail Collection. These new shades lend inspiration from the 2012 Crazy Horse cabaret show “Voodoo” that Christian choreographed where invisible hands marked by fluorescent paint leave handprints on the dancers' bodies. Like in this magical act, Loubiflash provides a flash of colour to hands, enabling the wearer to exalt herself with pops of bold colour.

Christian Louboutin has just launched their new Limited Edition Loubiflash Nail Colors ($30 for 0.2 fl/ 6ml) The three new neon shades are perfect for Spring and Summer. I had the pleasure of attending an event where I got a preview of the upcoming launches. I was also pampered with a manicure at the Tenoverten nail salon where the event was held. We were also asked to choose a nail color to go home with and obviously, I went with the bright peacock green shade called Dragon Flash.

I was in awe of the new products so it totally slipped my mind to take additional photos of the new nail polishes so, please excuse the grainy photo (this shot was from my Instagram story) I'm not proud of them, but it will have to do for now. These are the three new neon shades it's much smaller than the full-size CL nail polishes, however, the packaging remains same it's just a miniature and affordable version of their regular nail colors. Loubiflash Nail Colour is housed in a silver foil box featuring a neon colour reveal and Christian Louboutin logo matching the shade inside. Each bottle is crowned with the brand's signature calligraphy-style cap in metallic silver, reflecting the brilliant shades in this collection.
The gift bag also included the Loubi Nail Primer & Gloss ($55 for 2x 0.2 fl/6ml) This duo is the same size as the new Loubiflash nail colors. The nail primer creates a protective, smooth, and flawless surface for the nail colors and the gloss seals in your mani while providing chip-free, brilliant shine and UV protection. The customized triangle brush ensures picks up just the right amount of product. I do like the formula of this nail care kit the base coat is great especially if you're going for a pop of color. It helps create an even canvas for your mani and you only need one coat. I also love the gloss as instructed I applied two coats and it dries within 2-3 minutes which is pretty amazing cause I'm a total clutz, and I'm always messing up my mani while drying. The gloss also has a high shine which lasts for a week before it starts to chip and lose the shine. You can also wear this nail kit alone if you're in a rush but still want a polished look while protecting your nails.
This product is gluten-free, and it is free of toluene, formaldehyde, and DBP.
Now for the fun part let's talk about this beauty Dragon Flash! It's a beautiful seafoam green shade with a hint of teal. The formula is quite impressive it has a medium coverage and with two coats you can achieve an opaque finish. I did notice that Dragon Flash lacks a glossy, shiny finish so you'd definitely need to follow with a top coat which is what I normally do anyways so I don't think that's a big issue. However, I must mention I do own two other CL nail colors and both of them has a high gloss finish so, I think the neon formula has something to do with the matte finishing. The brush was very easy to work with, and the shorter version of the intimidating stiletto handle wasn't an issue at all. I wore Dragon Flash for a full week, and it started losing the lustrous shine and very minor chipping around the 5th day. By the 7th day, it chipped quite a bit but most of my other nail polishes last about 5-6 days before chipping so it's on par with other brands in terms of longevity.

This photo was taken right after I got my manicure this shade really suits my complexion and I actually received a lot of compliments. As I have mentioned before Dragon Flash has a matte finish but the top coat really did a great job providing a beautiful glossy finish. After I was done with my manicure I literally waited 2 minutes before I started moving around and taking photos of the new lipsticks (sneak peek coming soon). I was surprised that I did not mess up my polish it literally dries within minutes! I have tried many different top coats but so far I'm really impressed with this one.

This photo was taken on the fifth day of wearing Dragon Flash there were minor chipping on the index finger and the shine started fading a bit, but the color still remained vivid.
Final Verdict:
Christian Louboutin Beaute is a work of art, and it's definitely a splurge I tried holding off on the nail colors as long as I could cause it can get addicting. After trying out the other two nail polishes there was no going back. The quality, performance, and packaging is pure luxury. With that being said, the new neon nail colors are fun and playful I also like the price point which is why I'm probably going to purchase Crostameteor It's a really pretty orange shade. Overall, Dragon Flash gets two thumbs up, it performed really well, and the color is a total winner.

Happy Friday! Spring has sprung, and I had to take advantage of all the pretty blossom trees so, it was only appropriate to shoot this dress on this location. I felt this sheer lace dress went perfectly with the pretty trees. This dress was under $40 it's very well made, and it has beautiful embroidered details with scalloped trimming. I think this will be a great dress for summer weddings or parties since the fabric is very comfortable. I'm 5'3, and the dress is a bit long for me so, I had to pair it with high heels. I went for the classic Christian Louboutin Pigalle in 100mm.

This concludes my Sephora sale recommendations. Most of the products that I've mentioned here are things I've already used, using or in my Sephora cart which is why I can vouch for them. I'm very picky when it comes to fragrance if I had to pick one out of the three I shared I would go with Tom Ford Noir it smells amazing! Another item I want to squeeze in is the Beauty Blender Two .BB. Clean ($40.00) I'm definitely picking this up I love the cleanser it really deep cleans the sponges. I think when it comes makeup products Lipsticks are one item that I love to collect along LE blushes. Today I want to share 5 Lipsticks that are my absolute must haves! These lipsticks are amazingly pigmented, long lasting and very comfortable on the lips. When I say " Lipsticks You need To Try Now" I'm not referring to a specific shade more of an overall performance of these lipsticks. Now without further ado, let's get started.
Tom Ford Lips & Boys Lipsticks- When it comes Tom Ford he can do no wrong, I love his makeup line especially the Lips & Boys lipsticks. These are a mini version of the regular Tom Ford lipsticks its much more affordable, tons of shades to choose from, it's perfect for carrying in your makeup bag or clutch. I must admit as much as I love Tom Ford lipsticks some can go rancid like the Sable Smoke for one, I repurchased that lipstick many times and each time it went bad within months. I also noticed its mostly the nude TF lipsticks that are going bad, rest are still smelling pleasant. With that being said, I own quite a few of the Lips & Boys lipsticks and so far none of them went bad and since the size is much smaller than a full-size TF lippies you'll end up using them up rather quickly. My favorite one is Addison, which I couldn't feature here today cause it's almost done and what's left of it won't photograph very well haha. You can go with any shades from the TF Lips & Boys line they have pinks, coral, nudes, reds so it caters to everyone's needs.
Charlotte Tilbury K.i.s.s.i.n.g Lipstick- When Charlotte Tilbury Launched her line in the US I knew I had to have three items from the line, It was this lipstick Bitch Perfect and two of the eyeshadow quads. I quickly fell in love with her lipsticks I love the Mattes (Review here) as well, both Kissing and Matte Revolution lipsticks are very pigmented and comfortable on the lips. Another favorite of mine is the Hepburn Honey lipstick from the Kissing lipstick line. CT lipsticks definitely stand out more in her entire makeup line at least for me, I prefer them over her other makeup products.
YSL Rouge Volupte Silky Sensual Radiant Lipstick- I still remember the day when I purchased my very first YSL lipstick, I was very overwhelmed with so many choices then I ended up going with the shade #3 Ultimate Beige. Well here I am years later and I still love this shade and repurchased it a few times, I love the Silky Sensual Radiant line more than the other ones. All though I'm not a big fan of the strong scent in this lipstick, it's the formula that won me over. It just glides on your lips like butter and it's very pigmented too and I must point out the gorgeous packaging that I don't mind seeing on my vanity. I also love the new Oil-in-Stick lipsticks those are a must have as well, I did a review a while back on this particular shade you can check it out here.
Christian Louboutin Velvet Matte Lip Colour- I love CL shoes so when they launched a beauty line I was all over it, I immediately purchased two Matte Velvet lipstick. I have nothing but good things to say about this brand, they really got the formula down to a T not to mention the gorgeous packaging. I only have the Velvet Matte lipsticks but I heard the Silky Satin and Sheer Voile lipsticks are just as good. I'm very excited about their new collection which I'm sure they'll sell out just like some of the lipsticks did. Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick- This is the lipstick I reach for when I don't have any makeup Its like a lip balm with some colour. It's very glossy hence the name, I own a few shades but Etourdie is my favorite out of them all. Overall this is a great lipstick its sheer yet lightly pigmented, it's non-drying and you can never go wrong with Chanel.
