Lips can get very dry, chapped, and flaky from the harsh cold weather, so it's crucial to take extra care of your lips during winter. I never had issues with severe dry lips, mostly cause I slather lip balms on my lips all year along, but it can get dry if I don't drink enough water or wear very matte lipsticks. If you want soft baby lips, then you must start with drinking plenty of water (up to 8 glass a day), and use a good lip scrub once a week then apply a moisturizing lip balm to protect and hydrate your lips. The best way to tackle chapped lips is to use a thick lip balm at night that way it can sink in your lips, and moisturize your lips overnight. If you have extremely dry, painful cracked lips, try to keep your lips clean and use Vaseline my daughter has this issue, and this works for her every time. Also, here are a few lip care products that will prevent your lips from being dry or chapped.
- Fresh Sugar Lip Polish $24- To avoid flaky lips use a good lip scrub once or twice a week, it will get rid of the dead skin cells and make your lips soft and fresh. Keep in mind over scrubbing will make your lips very dry and it can be painful. I'm currently using a scrub from Fresh Sugar I also love the lip scrub from Lush (review here). This scrub smells great, and you only need a little bit of this another thing I like about this product is it's very nourishing, Even though it's moisturizing you mustn't skip a lip balm after using a lip scrub. You can also make your own scrub at home with sugar and honey, or you can use your toothbrush and gently scrub your lips with it.

I've been following this step for years I do believe this lip balm helped kept my lips chapped free. Also, it smells so good! Sometimes I use this on my cuticles too, and it works really well.
