I love TF packaging it's so sleek and luxurious, the packaging comes with a mirror compact and an applicator that has a sponge on one side and a small brush on the other . this trio is the same size as their blush compact.

Tom Ford She Wolf Ombre Eye Color
(Swatched without primer)

This trio comes with a cool under toned deep brown matte finish eye shadow, a dark gray taupe ish color eye shadow and a beautiful sparkle/glitter eye shadow. all three eye shadows have the most silky smooth buttery texture . i have a lot of brown neutral color eye shadows in my collection but most of them falls into warm under tone so I'm really liking this trio. i did notice something about this trio it looks different in certain lighting specially the middle color. the pigmentation is great i was surprised when i swatched the sparkle/glitter eye shadow i expected some chunky ness or some grainy type of texture but to my surprise it felt like a wet/cream type of shadow and swatched really well . the sparkle/glitter eye shadow have great pigmentation it isn't too over the top but it can be toned down with a light hand application, so its great if you want to add a little pop to your everyday look.  the glitter eye shadow reminds me of mac's pressed pigment eye shadows. overall i really like this palette and can't wait to do some looks with it i will try to find some dupes as well, so stay tuned for that =)

Guerlain Madame Rougit Blush, it comes with a brush which is really soft but i don't see myself using this brush to apply this blush.

Guerlain Madame Rougit Blush Swatch
I didn't swatch each colors cause it wasn't showing up well so i just mixed all the colors and swatched it. the texture of this blush is very soft goes on smooth and blends easily. guerlain mentioned this blush will highlight as well but i didn't notice anything like that. the finishing of this blush is satiny there is slight sheen to it which i think came from the little pearls once its gone the blush will be left with more of a matte finish . This blush lasted about 6 hour on my oily to combination skin after 6 hour it started to fade a little. I'm not impressed with this blush at all for the price i wish the pigmentation was better . i must admit i did fall for this blush cause of the pretty embossing and packaging I'm a sucker for pretty packaging . i also noticed this blush looks better on then swatched on my hand. this blush really let me down i suggest you skip this one and save your money.

 Guerlain Madame Rougit Blush,
after swatching and using it the little pearls are gone=(

It's a raspberry fuchsia color, its  blue under toned with  micro shimmer the camera couldn't pick up the little micro shimmers but it's there guys and it is gorgeous . i love matte finish lipsticks but this gorgeous magenta color satin finish lipstick won me over. this does not last long though i have to reapply after 3 to 4 hours that's the only reason i love matte lipsticks they last longer . i totally suggest you guys check this lipstick out i really want to purchase one more lipstick from this collection but i need to kill those sweet thoughts cause I'm saving up for something else =(  this collection also includes some eye shadow duos, eye liners and nail polish.

How to press loose eyeshadows (guest post by Be.you.tiful.oBseSSiioNs)

I love eye shadows but i have never been fond of loose eye shadows they are just way too messy and the payoff is often less than what you actually think or want. So here is a quick and simple way to press eye shadows by not spending too time and money.

Things you will need

1. Loose eyeshadow or pigments
2. Alcohol (i prefer the highest amount of alcohol
the more percentage of alcohol you use the faster
it will dry and i am using 91%)
3.Q-tips (you can also use cotton balls but i like
using Q-tips i think it cleans up better)
4. Toothpick (a spatula or any other tools
can be used as you like but i like using
toothpick i think i have mo re control on
it and it easier to mix with it)
5. A quarter
6. Empty eyeshadow pans ( i bought my pans from eBay
it comes in a palette with 12empty magnetic pans for about $5.99
which i think is a great deal and its pretty nice too rather than buying
everything separate and spend more when you can get the whole
palette in a cheaper price. you can also
view a post about that on my Facebook Page )

I have seen lots of people uses pressing medium like "My Mix clear" Hard pressed medium" " bio silk" etc...and also uses lots of other tools and pots to mix shadows and what not which i think is a total waste of money. why not use things that you already have around you in your home, than again its totally my opinion you can use whatever you like and comfortable with. =)

OK! here we go with the processing of pressing eye shadows.

STEP ONE

The very first step is the cleaning step. Its very important
to sanitize the pans and more importantly the quarter as
we all know how dirty can it be.So always clean your hands,
pans and the quarter with the rubbing alcohol to disinfect.

STEP TWO

Take a small amount of eyeshadow and put
it on to the pan. I prefer to take small amount
at a time than dumping all at once this will
help it mix the shadow well and make
a less mess.

STEP THREE

Take few drops of alcohol on to the cap.
You can also use a spray bottle or a syringe
But i like using the cap like i said before i rather
use the things i already have than buying extras.
But you can use whatever you like and comfortable with.

STEP FOUR

Put few drops at a time and mix it well.It will help
you better if you take few drop of alcohol
at a time than dumping it all at once. It will
just ruin you mixture and make more mess.

STEP FIVE

Mix the eyeshadow with the toothpick
and make sure there are no lumps.
Add more alcohol if needed. Make sure the
Texture is creamy like cake batter
and not watery.

STEP SIX

Keep adding more eyeshadow and alcohol
and mix it until your pan is full and you
get a nice creamy texture.

It should look like this.

And now let it dry for about 3/4hours i like
drying it overnight i think it gives a better
texture if you let it dry it for long. But its up to
you just make sure its completely dried.

STEP SEVEN

Now the most important part! The pressing part.
Take a piece of napkin (you can also use a clean
piece of cloth) fold it couple of times and put it
on top of the shadow pan and than put the coin
on top and press as hard as you can. You can
also put something heavy on it to press better.
Keep pressing until you are satisfied. Now remove
the napkin and flip it over and see if its clean as the
picture above. The eye shadow must not stick
on the napkin if it did than it means it didn't dry enough.
If that happens what you can do it put some alcohol
on the napkin and press again and let it dry.

LAST PART

It should look like this when its completely dried. And
now take you pressed eyeshadow and place it
in you palette. AND YOU ARE ALL DONE !! :)

I recently pressed a full palette of  loose
eye shadows you can see it here Be.you.tiful.obsessiions

I hope this post helps you all and i also
hope i was clear enough to make
you all understand.

And i thank my friend Mona for
letting me do a guest post on her blog. ❤

Nars Pierre Hardy Collection

Nars teamed up with Pierre Hardy a shoe designer and created an amazing collection.
Details from the website:
Inspired by the designer's 2013 high-fashion shoe collection.the Pierre Hardy for Nars collection also includes six nail polish pairs presented in the spirit of his signature shoe box packaging for ultra modern coupling of conceptual color.

Nars Pierre Hardy Collection
Price -$41.00 (each blush)
Left *Boys don't cry (0.45 oz)
Right*Rotonde (0.45 oz)
Where To Purchase: Narscosmetics.com

Boys Don't Cry

Rotonde

Here's a size comparison you can clearly see these are jumbo size blush. there is quiet a lot products in the Pierre hardy blushes.a regular Nars blush contains 0.16 oz and the one i used as a example is Nars Torrid blush (just in case you are wondering) . both of the blushes are super pigmented bright and bold colors, my fave is boys don't cry i love this color it's like a watermelon pinkish coralish color i don't know how to describe this color it's so pretty and perfect for summer. Rotonde is described as a tiger lily color, it's a deep orange color blush.both of the blush lasted about 6 to 7 hours on my oily skin. the gold shimmer pattern is an over spray so it will go away as you continue using this blush. like i mentioned before its very pigmented so you have to be careful with the  application . i did a heavy swatch and i also blended out to show you guys you can sheer these blushes out. you can use a stippling brush to apply the blushes for a light flush of color.

Heavy swatch

*Left Blended out lightly *Right applied a second layer and blended out

The texture is very soft and easily blend able which is great since its really pigmented. i think both of the colors will work with both dark and light skin ladies. i did notice the gold shimmer added a little sheen which i actually loved i hope the shimmer pattern will last a little longer till the blush is left with a solid matte color. if i had to recommend one blush between these 2 i would say Boys don't cry its a unique color and not to mention how gorgeous it looks on my yellow/olive skin .

Nars Pierre Hardy Collection
*Vertebra (0.5 fl. oz)
Price -$ 29.00
Where To Purchase: Narscosmetics.com

I received this nail polish duo and it was broken and leaked all over the box so i had another one shipped right away and this one came in perfect shape. i also purchased one more nail polish duo from this collection but haven't received that one yet and i didn't want to delay anymore once i receive that nail polish i will do a separate post on it. this nail polish duo came in a shoe box along with is a drawstring dust bag .there is no name for the nail polishes its labeled as vertebra right ,vertebra left.vertebra left is described as a coral color nail polish and i think this nail polish looks like boys don't cry blush. which is why i probably love it so much, vertebra right is describes as a dusty rose color nail polish i like this color too. i love the price Nars permanent nail polish cost $19.00 and this nail polish duo is $29.00 so that's a pretty good deal. i didn't notice any chipping and i had it on for a week. the consistency is nice i didn't experience any streaking, the coral shade needed 2 coat, dusty rose shade is a little bit thicker than the coral one and needed only one coat.

Here's the swatch of the nail polish duo

Overall i really liked this collection. if you want to pick up something from this collection i suggest you do it soon cause fall collections are launching soon and some have launched already so the summer collection might be removed from the websites so get them before they are gone =)
