Hourglass recently released a travel sized trio of Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light, Incandescent Light,(Limited Edition)  Radiant Light. The palette also comes with a small sample size Mineral Veil Primer.

I saw this palette earlier this year and i was so excited since i always wanted to try out their Ambient Powders. Their regular sized Ambient Powder contains 0.35 oz and priced $45.00 each. pretty pricey so this little trio palette is perfect in my opinion. you get to try out three different shades for $58 bucks and you can use the three universal shade as a highlight, if you have dry skin you can use it as a setting powder. since i have oily skin i set my foundation with a setting powder,then i lightly dust Radiant Light Powder.

Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer 

I've used this primer before and i absolutely loved it. It works great on oily skin i have large pores around my cheeks and this primer really minimize the appearance of pores. I'm always on the hunt for a great primer I've tried MAC, Benefit, Bare Minerals, Chanel, Smashbox, Laura Mercier and this one is hands down one of the best primer. Its very light weight absorbs oil and evens out skin tone this really helps hides the redness on my cheeks. This primer gives you a smooth base and helps the foundation stay on longer. This does have a silicone feel to it which doesn't bother me. It is a bit pricey but totally worth it.

Dim Light 

A natural soft beige that provides a perfect balance of warm and cool tones to blur imperfections. I don't think this can work as a setting powder for me. This is a great highlight for my yellow/tan skin Its not over the top shimmery .

Incandescent Light

An opalescent pearl powder that brightens the complexion with a celestial glow. This shade is new and available in this palette as of now. Its a soft pearly color with tons of shimmer .

Radiant Light

A sun-kissed golden beige that enhances the overall complexion with believable, subtle warmth. This one is my favorite one out of the three, It has tiny gold sparkle which is not glitter at all very subtle and gorgeous .

Overall:
I am really impressed with the quality of these powders. They are not highlighters hourglass claims them to be a finishing powder.These powders brings back some life to your skin makes it look smooth and luminous. The only con i could find is these powders are very fragile. Depending on the brush you use, might cause some excess powder to kick up. If you want to try Ambient Powders i suggest you grab this palette soon before its gone.
