This is the packaging It comes with a pouch and a mini brush. Although the brush is very soft I wont be using it I prefer using my Mac duo fiber188 brush. When you open the compact there is a dome shaped plastic cover which supposed to protect the product. Instead it scratches the design I hate that little thing this is the second time it happened hope Chanel do something about that.

Chanel Camelia De Plumes Highlighting Powder

When I first saw the pictures of Chanel Holiday 2014 Camelia De Plumes highlighting Powder I was a little hesitant but I decided to cave in and I'm glad I did. It looks like a silver grayish color in the pan but once I swatched it on my medium tan skin it looks more off a pale gold almost like champagne color. I cant quite describe the exact color I feel like each time it looks different depending on the lighting. The consistency of this powder is extremely soft and smooth which is why I prefer Mac 188 brush for a light dusting on my cheekbones. This powder is packed with shimmer and it can look grayish if applied heavily. With a light hand application it will give you the prettiest glow.

Overall
At first glance this cool tone silver looking highlighter might scare people away but I'm glad I didn't. This might not be every ones go to highlighter but for the LE collectors its worth checking out. I give it a thumbs up if you're planning on purchasing this highlighting powder check your local Chanel counters before it sells out.

  1. while I love the look of this, I just can't figure out how i would use it... and I am still fighting the good fight about NOT becoming a make-up collector....

would love to see you use it in a tutorial.
