Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

Last year I was in dire need of a good concealer and I came across Nars Creamy Concealer and I fell in love. The name explains it all its very radiant and creamy it blends in seamlessly. I'm not a big fan of the packaging maybe cause the doe foot applicator came off after a few months. I wish it was a tube or a pan but for now, this will do. This concealer comes in 10 shades I choose the shade Ginger. This concealer is Paraben free, Sulfate free, and Phthalates free.

This concealer can be full coverage or sheer depends on how you apply it. It does have a thick consistency which requires more blending work. I use my ring finger to blend out this concealer I find that's the best way to warm up the product and that's just what I prefer. I did try using a beauty blender I didn't like the application so it depends on what you're more comfortable with. If your under eye area is dry I would suggest you moisturize well before applying this concealer. This concealer hides all my imperfections like old acne scars. I don't have severe dark under eye circles so one layer is all I need and it brightens up my under eye area really well. This is one of my favorite concealers it has been for the past year and yes I did repurchase and replaced the old tube if you're wondering.

This picture was taken after a long day of my daughter's ballet recital followed by lunch and shopping. As I recall that day was pretty warm and as you can see no creasing at all. On this day I had applied a very sheer layer of the concealer and I set it with MAC Cosmetics powder. This picture was taken with no flash in natural lighting.

These pictures were taken with flash. On the left picture, I set the concealer with a translucent powder and the pictures on the right I set the concealer with Ben Nye banana powder mixed with Lancome powder. I prefer setting the concealer with Lancome or Ben Nye powder cause it's more yellow as opposed to the translucent powder which can leave a white cast under flash photography. I only mix the Ben Nye and Lancome powders for party looks since the makeup look is a bit dramatic and it works great as a highlighter as well.

Final Verdict:
I love this concealer it's one of the beauty products I will always repurchase. This concealer is a little thick and it dries quickly so if you have dry skin as long as you prepare your skin before applying the concealer you'll love the result. The only con I can come up with is the doe foot applicator coming off maybe I just got a dud tube the first time. Overall this concealer is worth every penny have you tried this concealer yet? If so please share your thoughts and opinions.

  1. I absolutely love your makeup in both sets of pics. I use this too and I do like that it doesn't crease!
