Givenchy Point D'Encrage & Gypsophila Les Saisons Spring & Summer 2017 Collection
Givenchy recently launched their Point d'Encrage spring & Gypsophila Les Saisons summer beauty collections. I received a few products from their Spring & Summer 2017 makeup collection keep scrolling to read the review and view the swatches of the stunning Givenchy beauty 2017 collections. First up is the Point d'Encrage Spring Collection:
Givenchy Point d'Encrage Spring Makeup Collection
"Inspired by the pigmentation, intensity, and versatility of ink, the GIVENCHY Point d’Encrage spring makeup collection for 2017 is an ode to the beauty of artistry.
From extreme depths to a light transparency, ink has the ability to reinvent colours. Point d’Encrage explores a spectrum of hues from the sheerest pinks to the deepest blue-blacks, playing with texture along the way to create a showstopping effect on the skin.
This spring, explore your artistic side with the GIVENCHY Spring look, and embellish your features with dazzling radiance and tempting colour."
Givenchy Memoire de Forme Highlighter
Givenchy Mémoire de Forme Highlighter 01 Pink Ink ($45.00 for 1.05 oz) Is housed in a sturdy, beautiful, sleek plastic jar with a twist top. This soft and airy highlighter has a hint of floral scent that's not too overpowering. A face & body gel highlighter with a fresh and bouncy texture for a radiant, healthy glow. With its unique feel, the gel consistency of Mémoire de Forme Highlighter contains 72% water. Since it's 72% water its very light weight and sheer in pigmentation. It's highlighting pink shade almost runs pastel lilac on me, and the gel blends in quickly leaving behind a wash of shimmer. Nicolas Degennes, Givenchy's makeup artist director, recommends applying this to the bridge of the nose, the apple of your cheeks, and the outer corners of the eyelids to illuminate the complexion. I personally like to apply to this on the apple of my cheeks and finish it with a powder highlighter since that's where the natural light catches. You can also use this on your collarbone, shoulders and your legs for a dewy, glowy look. I won't suggest mixing this highlighter with your foundation due to the micro shimmers cause the shimmers aren't subtle so it will leave you with noticeable glitters and shimmers. I think this highlighter will flatter on those with light to medium skin tones. This seems to be the most popular item from the entire collection, and it's now available at Neiman Marcus.

Givenchy Prisme Libre Mousseline Pastel
Givenchy Prisme Libre Mousseline Pastel Travel Size ($40.00 for .3oz) Givenchy's iconic and best selling loose powder comes in a sturdy little jar with a twist cap and a powder puff it's perfect for on-the-go touchups. The iconic loose powder Prisme Libre in a travel size combines the 4 shades of our most popular colour correcting shade Mousseline Pastel. A universal finishing powder for a perfectly matte yet radiant and translucent complexion. This finely milled lilac-hued brightening powder has a matte finish, and it will be ideal for yellow and sallow complexions. I have yellow undertone, and I like to lightly dust it all over my face to set my foundation it doesn't leave a white cast it gives a flawlessly smooth finish. This powder is long lasting I have very oily t-zone, and it helped keep the oil at bay. I did have to blot midday cause I have yet to find a powder that can maintain the greasiness away for the whole day. I've always wanted to try Givenchy's infamous loose pastel powders, and I must admit I'm quite impressed by it a total winner in my book. I wanted to point out the difference between the travel size, and the full size of this powder which contains .42 oz products priced at $55.00 is not much so If I were to replenish I would most likely go for the full size.

Givenchy Gypsophila Les Saisons Summer 2017 Collection
Givenchy Gypsophila Les Saisons
"A tribute to the strength and serenity of gypsophila blossoms, the Givenchy Gypsophila Les Saisons Makeup Look is a crisp and beautiful collection for the face, eyes and lips that take its cues from Givenchy fashion.
The Gypsophila Les Saisons is an ideal companion for the summer, transforming the complexion with a sun-kissed glow, while lighting up the eyes in shades of blue and the lips with juicy pinks.
A striking meeting of Givenchy fashion and beauty, the look showcases a wealth of limited edition collector’s pieces for one season only."
I love the Givenchy Bronzers last year I purchased and reviewed the Les Saisons Healthy Glow Bronzer which I loved, and I even featured on my Best of Beauty 2016 post. What I love about Givenchy bronzers is the shade it has the most luminous finish ever, and it provides a natural, healthy sunkissed glow. And the texture is just as good as the shades which is why I can't wait to get my hands on the Healthy Glow & Body Bronzing Powder ($65.00 for 0.56 oz). This collection was inspired by the Gypsophila flower, and if you have noticed from my photos, I love Gypsophila flowers I always have a fresh bunch in my house.
Today I will be reviewing two products from the latest Givenchy summer collection:
Givenchy Gypsophila Les Saisons Le Rouge Lipsticks
Givenchy Gypsophila Les Saisons Le Rouge lipsticks are packaged in luxurious minty green leather case. The unique minty blue leather packaging alone will catch anyone's eyes, and I'm sure these will sell out in no time.
Givenchy Le Rouge Coral Gypsophila
Givenchy Le Rouge Coral Gypsophila ($37.00 for 0.12 oz) is a limited edition lipstick that has the most beautiful packaging ever! The texture of this lipstick is light weight, smooth and non-sticky it just glides on your lips like butter. I love the bright coral shade it screams summer, and this shade goes perfectly with my complexion. The lipstick bullet is crisp enough for a precise application, but I like to pair it with a lipliner to avoid any bleeding. It's very comfortable on the lips, and it lasted for 3-4 hours before it started to fade.
Ingredients:
Polyglyceryl-2 Thriisostearate, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Synthetic Wax, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Ozokerite, Cera Alba (Beeswax), C10-30 Cholesterol/Lanosterol Esters, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Trimethylolpropane Triisostearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Silica, Parfum(Fragrance), Trihydroxystearin, BHT, Butylene Glycol, Spilanthes Acmella Flower Extract, Caprylyl Glycol, Propyl Gallate, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Benzyl Benzoate, Hexylene Glycol, Hydroxycitronellal, Tocopherol, CI77891(Titanium Dioxide), CI 15850(Red 6), CI 15985(Yellow 6 Lake), CI 45410 (Red 28 Lake), CI 42090 (Blue 1 Lake).
Givenchy Le Rouge-A-Porter Red Gypsophila
Givenchy Le Rouge -A-Porte- Red Gypsophila ($37.00 for .07 oz) A sheer finish lipstick in a limited-edition red shade with a summery, aquatic blue genuine leather-clad case. Although it's a sheer lipstick, it does not lack in pigmentation. This creamy whipped lipstick is formulated with hyaluronic acid, its balmy, ultra-sensorial and hydrating texture protects your lips while imparting subtle color with a shiny finish. This glossy red shade will suit all skin even though I'm not a big fan of red lipsticks I can see myself reaching for this lipstick. This lasted 2-3 hours on me before it started to fade it's not very long lasting mostly cause it's more of a tinted lip balm. I love how cute and compact this lipstick is I can just throw it in my purse or makeup bag for a quick touch-up.
